The Icon by Chokolaate

ICON is a public speaking Conference organized by Chokolaate magazine with the motive of reintroducing public speaking as a mean of bringing about a change of attitude in the Sri Lankan youth. It will comprise of two segments

• All island Public speaking Contest
• Public Speaking Conference

The public speaking contest is to be organized for school students in the age group of 15 – 19 years.

The initial competition round will be launched on the 7th of August with the semi finals taking place on the 14th.

The Contestants will have both impromptu and prepared speech rounds revolving around a theme pertaining to ‘Sri Lanka’. The contest will consist of three rounds. Preliminary, Semi Finals and Finals. The Finals will be held at the convention on the 28th of August.
