ANC Presents Unplugged Night ‘19

Unplugged Night ‘19

The Performing Arts Club of ANC is a club known for its talent and exquisite performances over the years. They have being able to organize events that screamed entertainment and talent for the past several years.

A little over an year ago, the Performing Arts Club of American National College (ANC) came up with the idea to hold their own Open Mic Night. The idea soon became a reality as the Performing Arts Club held their first ever open mic event, “Unplugged Night ‘18”. The event was held at Sooriya Village on 14th November 2018 and it would be an understatement to say that the event was a massive success.

The night was accompanied by definitive talent of singers, beat boxers, poets and comedians. The Unplugged Night was further sparked up by the guest appearance by Shonel Perera.

As a result of the obvious success of the last year’s event Performing Arts Club of ANC have yet again decided to hold the event this year on the 25th of October at Sooriya Village from 6.00 p.m. onwards. It is out of question that the night will be a step up from last year, considering the massive response received by the club regarding the event and the turn in of audition tapes for the event.

Unplugged Night ’19 will accompanied by various guest artists Eksath De Alwis, Medhavi Jayarathne and Hidaayath and Mewan from the band “Dot Dotya”. Unplugged Night ’19 is undoubtably an event to look out for. The tickets for the event are priced at LKR 300.00 and will be available to purchase at the entrance or from any club member of the Performing Arts Club.

Don’t miss out this musical extravaganza. Come join the students of ANC on Friday the 25th of October 2019 for an experience worth having.
