Nestled in the busy streets of Nedimala, Wok to Box matches the pace of the hustle and bustle of its surroundings. It’s the perfect place to pick up a box of hot, flavourful noodles cooked to perfection served straight from the wok on-the-go, or stop by for some chill vibes and great food amidst the chaos.
Wok-to-box adopts a unique concept of an open kitchen where you can watch your food being prepared as fresh vegetables and meat are sliced and tossed on a wok with delicious sauces. The mere sight of this is incredibly fascinating and when the smell first hits your nostrils you know that you’re in for a meal experience to remember.
We were invited over to this place for an exclusive preview of the menu and we immensely enjoyed every single dish they served.

They have an array of starters including hot butter cuttlefish, fried prawns and battered mushrooms which were mouthwatering. The perfect blend of crisp and flavourful. For all the vegetarians, be prepared to experience heaven in your mouth with their luffa which is cooked to perfection and tastes beyond amazing.
Their main menu is pretty interesting and is curated in a way where we get the choice of picking our own noodles, meat and sauce. I opted for rice noodles in mushroom sauce with chicken and I couldn’t get enough of it. Every bite was a flavourful surprise!

They also have authentic options such as Jaffna curry and nai + Kochi miris if you can handle the spice and the standard chilli garlic which provides an exciting burst of flavour in your mouth.
If you’re ever driving down Nedimala and are hungry for a quick bite then wok to box is your go-to. On a second thought though, even if you aren’t really hungry, do stop by to tantalise your tastebuds with some good old Asian food upgraded with a local kick to it. The owners and staff are super friendly and helpful when it comes to taking your pick and the ambience is that of a typical chill-out spot. Wok to box really does tick all the boxes, so next time, stop by and be prepared to be amazed.
